conversations in tandem
to the throbbing of sleepiness
always tired aren't we ?
sleep follows me
as if i am in a constant dream
a bird dreaming of humanity
oh such lowly horizons
may i wake up
and leave the nest
to think,
such strange dreams
we have this winter

let the words flow out of me
written by exhaustion
in the ink of tired eyes
i cant keep looking
its as if the distance between my face
and my mind are here
we are
a sudden explosion of stars
constellations and songs

and puts away all the words

Arabic Calligraphyby ~Karimi

This is my first attempt at calligraphy. It says "God is great, there is no god but God" in Arabic. Though it seems a bit over zealous and religious it was mainly inspired by my love for calligraphy. I chose it because I wanted to draw something related to my heritage, and because I'm an Arab, I felt religious calligraphy was the best choice. Made with flash.
